UNDP’s Civil Society Development Programme Announces a New Grant Competition

UNDP's Civil Society Development Programme announces a grant competition in the area of improving the legal framework for the civil society in Ukraine. The competition will select one public or charitable organization that will receive a grant to conduct research, develop policy recommendations, and organize informational and educational events aimed at the improvement of the application of law during registration of public and charitable organizations. Organizations with a strong record of analytical, educational, awareness-raising, and monitoring experience are encouraged to apply. Also, experience in cooperation with authorities on the improvement of the legal framework for the civil society is required. The closing date for the receipt of applications is COB 28 May 2010.
