Published results of an annual survey report of third sector - Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine. The State and Dynamics 2002 – 2009In September 2009 annual survey of Ukrainian CSOs was conducted by CCC. The goal of survey was to define the level of Ukrainian CSOs development and Ukrainian CSOs needs. The survey has been conducted by CCC through financial support from The Ukraine National Initiatives to Enhance Reforms (UNITER).
In survey took part 598 CSOs, which represent all Ukrainian regions of Ukraine, Autonomous Republic Crimea and Kiyv City.
The survey entailed collecting and analyzing information on the organizational development of a select number of CSOs in the sector, relations of these CSOs with their external environment (community, government structures, business, mass media, other CSOs), their program activity, reporting, transparency and their definitions of their internal and external needs as well as the barriers for CSO development in Ukraine, coalitions/networks and legitimacy respondents organizations, results of development trends of Ukrainian CSOs during 2002-2009.
This year edition includes survey data from 2009 as well as data from previous seven years with compeering and analysis of 3 sector trends development in Ukraine. Besides, there are results of deep analysis and CSOs needs in this report. The report published in Ukrainian and English.
The report may be of interest to CSO leaders, government officials working in the public sector, business representatives involved in the development of social policy programs in their organizations, academics and experts working in the field, representatives of donor agencies and international consultants involved in civil society development. |
