| RURAL DISTRICTS-PARTICIPANTS OF THE CIVIL INITIATIVE FOR ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL RIGHTS DEFENSE PROJECT SELECTEDPlanning by Community Project will be introduced in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District in Odesa Oblast, Gusyatyn District in Ternopil Oblast, and Dunaivtsi District in Khmelnitsky Oblast. These three districts were selected by the results of the competition. All in all there were 10 districts from Odesa, Luhansk, Khmelnitsky and Ternopil oblasts having submitted applications to the Competition Commission. Decision was made according to the evaluation of the applications and results of study visits to all the pretending districts. By the Project, an additional competition will be announced among rural communities of the selected districts in order to receive grants for working out town planning documentation (territory planning schemes and general plans), which will take to account all the interests of power, public and business together. Moreover, in order to provide rural communities with information and methodical assistance, there will be information consulting centers built in the districts, where specialists will give assistance on matters connected with community territories planning. Besides that, there will be trainings conducted for representatives of public and power. According to the Project, public organizations are expected to be supported within initiatives on protection of citizens' rights and interests while solving problems connected with spatial planning; power actions in this filed will be monitored. This assistance will be provided through special Call for Proposals. The Project «Civil Initiative for Economic and Social Rights Defense» is implemented by CCC Creative Center and Civil Society Institute under financial support of the European Union.
