Objective:
- To strengthen CSO capacity in the field of networking and effective influence on decision-making by public authorities
- To improve the effect of existing mechanisms of interaction between state and civil society.
Project Stages:
- to create the steering groups in Moldova and in Ukraine oblasts that will enhance the achievement of Project goals at local level;
- to conduct a range of round tables with the assistance of public and power representatives for discussion of vital questions of power and civil society interaction at regional and international levels;
- to conduct master-classes for strengthening capacity of organizations in networking and advocacy;
- to organize study visits to Brussels and London for CSO representatives and public authorities from Ukraine and Moldova;
- to create and to support Web-portal;
- to conduct a conference in order to summarize and to spread the experience of the Project
- to prepare and to spread the report by the results of the Project.

27 September - Regional Steering Group Meeting is conducted in Kherson.

June 23 – the round-table was conducted in Luhansk. The draft of government directive “On measures to ensure public participation in state policy making and implementation” was discussed by local NGOs and oblast public administration.

28-29 May – the master-class “Advocacy and networking: European experience for Ukrainian NGOs” was held in Kyiv. 46 CSO activists from Luhansk, Kherson, Poltava, Sumy oblasts participated. The master-class was conducted by Hans Wolters and Johann Schotte (Euclid Network)
April 2010
29 April – the round table “Effective Counteraction between Civic Counsel and Kherson public administration” was conducted in Kherson.
2 April – Regional Steering Group Meeting is conducted in Kherson.

19 March – Regional Steering Group Meeting is conducted in Luhansk.

24 February – the Round Table “Improving mechanisms of transparency in Luhansk oblast through counteraction with civil society institutes” is conducted in Luhansk. Representatives of oblast public administration, town councils of the oblast and 12 civic organizations took part in it.
January 2010
28 January – the Round Table “Counteraction between authority and publicity through the mechanism of civil councils: experience, abilities, challenges” is conducted in Kherson. Representatives of 34 civic organizations, 6 local authority bodies and vice-head of oblast public administration took part in it. As a result of the meeting the letter was submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
