Objectives: to outline the level of development and assessment of the needs of NGOs in Ukraine
Project stages:

• Conducting research of CSO' capacity and needs about their condition and requirements in 2009 and 2010.
• Conducting polling of UNITER's grantees in 2009 and again in 2010.
• Edition and presentation of reports according to results of polling.
• Preparation reports of constancy Index of development of public organizations in 2009 and 2010.

January 2011 - published results of an annual survey report of third sector - Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine. The State and Dynamics 2002 – 2010.

December 2010 – preparation of the survey report

October 13, 2010 - the expert discussion about the Index development constancy of public organizations for 2010 was conducted. According to the results of expert discussion, a report was prepared.

September 2010 - October 2010 - preparation of the comparative report

June 2010 - August 2010 receiving, processing and analysis of questionnaires

April- August, 2010 a polling of 59 grantees of the project “Ukraine National Initiatives to Enhance Reforms” (UNITER) was conducted. Polling was conducted according to the three main aspects: the organizational development, the legitimacy of organization and providing advocacy.

April, 20 – June, 4, 2010 conduction of field stage of research in 24 oblasts, in The Republic of Crimea and in Kyiv. 610 of CSOs leaders were polled in 26 geographical units.

March 2010 published results of an annual survey report of third sector - Civil Society Organizations in Ukraine. The State and Dynamics 2002 – 2009.

September 1-25, 2009 conduction of field stage of research in 24 oblasts, in The Republic of Crimea and in Kyiv. 598 of CSOs leaders were polled in 26 geographical units.

August 31, 2009 the consultation for coordinators who provide regional research was conducted in Kyiv.  The information about goals and tasks of polling, mechanism of CSOs implication to fill questionnaire, checking questionnaire mechanism  were provided during a day meeting of regional coordinators.
