PROMOTING ACTIVE CITIZEN ENGAGEMENT (ACTION) IN COMBATING CORRUPTION IN UKRAINE

Objective: independent public monitoring support, public interests representation and maintenance in priority spheres of corruption-fighting.

Project activity was mainly concentrated on problems defined by the Government of Ukraine in program of cooperation with Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), i.e.: judicial reform improvement; executive power monitoring, ethic and administrative standards introduction; regulative procedures collaboration and introduction; corruption-fighting in the field of higher education.

The Project consists of two main components:

  • supporting public interests representation and maintenance; civil society monitoring;
  • journalistic investigations and other anticorruption initiatives from mass media.
